Processed figs are dried figs at Ficus Carica variety and called as ' SARILOP'' . Figs are prepared from matured, clean and sun dried figs. Especially in the certain area of the Aegean Region, depending on the climate, the figs have thin skin and high sweet (honey) contents . So our figs and fig products have different specialities from the others.
The sun dried figs are firstly calibrated then they are passed and controlled under theU.V light. Selected good quality products are washed and all foreign materials are removed. During the selection steps; sun burned or damaged, mouldy, spoilt and fermented figs are removed.
High quality products are packed into different packaging materials. Packaging depends on the customer's demand, and all finished packs are metal detected for final check. This process takes place under the highest hygiene standards and manufacturing practice.
